- Is Alliyah certified?
- Yes — an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, approved by the American Kennel Club to administer and certify the CGC test. She's listed in the AKC's public evaluator directory under Georgia, Kennesaw 30152.
- What training methods do you use?
- Positive reinforcement, tailored to each dog. Patience, consistency, and reading every dog as the individual they are — confidence before commands, because a frightened dog can't learn whatever it's been taught to do.
- What can training help with?
- Loose-leash walking, reactivity, basic manners and obedience, confidence-building, and turning everyday challenges into lasting wins for both you and your dog.
- How many sessions will my dog need?
- Every dog learns differently. We'll recommend a plan that fits your goals and adjust as your dog progresses — the focus is real results, not a fixed number of sessions.
- What if my dog needs more sessions than the programme includes?
- No problem, and no extra charge. Session counts are a target, not a cap. If your dog needs one more before the assessment, you get it — we train until your dog passes.
- Do you train the owner too?
- Yes, and it's not optional. Training is as much about the human at the other end of the lead as the dog. A dog who only listens to the trainer hasn't been trained.
- What's the vet and grooming confidence training?
- Handling practice for the appointments most dogs dread — being touched, held, examined and groomed without fear. It's included as standard rather than sold as an extra.
- Do you train puppies?
- Absolutely. Puppy foundations one-on-one, and a dedicated Puppy Training group class — socialisation, potty training, manners, and good habits built early.
- Where do sessions happen?
- At Swift Cantrell Park for park sessions and small-group classes — Alliyah's first choice, because real distractions are where training sticks. Out in public around Kennesaw, Acworth, Marietta and Woodstock. And in your home if you're in ZIP 30101, 30144 or 30152.
- Do you offer pet sitting or dog walking?
- Not ourselves — that's our partners at Georgia Pet Pal, who handle walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Training is what we do.
